Health Insights are HIMSS UK's one-day regional health IT events delivered free to the NHS and public sector.

Returning to four cities in November 2017, the next Health Insight series will explore the very latest in health IT implementation and adoption across the NHS.

Each Health Insight gives attendees a packed agenda with local and national healthcare IT leaders delivering the latest developments and strategies in their area. Attendees always leave with the insight, tools and inspiration they need to make a positive difference where they work.

A regional view on digital maturity

The November series of Health Insights will offer a sharp focus on how health and care organisations are starting to shift their attention to the digitalisation of whole areas, regions and cities. 

The series will explore:  

  • How NHS hospitals, including Global Digital Exemplars, GPs, community organisations and local authorities are implementing technology individually and collectively to improve patient outcomes within regions, and the challenges they face in doing this   

  • Digitalisation at hospitals and GP surgeries, and how these services are using IT solutions to cover the gaps in care

  • Hot topics in NHS IT, including what the future holds for Global Digital Exemplars, GDPR and digital leadership for the future with CHIME 

  • How industry and the NHS can improve working relationships to implement technology
