TALLINN, ESTONIA - October 18th, 2017 a new report by HIMSS Europe released today has revealed that health and IT professionals from across the UK and Ireland are more concerned about IT funding than those in any other country in Europe, with the exception of Italy.
London hospital becomes the fourth organisation in England to reach Stage 6 of the internationally recognised HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM)
London, UK - Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has been successfully validated at Stage 6 of the international HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM) standards.
The trust, located in London, England, has reaffirmed its commitment to improve patient safety and overall quality of clinical care through digital technology by demonstrating compliance against the standards.
Nine nominees make up the final shortlist for this year’s Kate Granger Compassionate Care Awards.
The finalists were selected from 117 entrants in the three award categories.
Now in their third year the awards were set up by Kate Granger, the terminally ill doctor who worked tirelessly to raise awareness around compassion in the NHS through her #hellomynameis social media campaign.
HIMSS has announced the appointment of Harold “Hal” Wolf III as its new president and CEO. Wolf is expected to start in September 2017 and will assume full duties of President and CEO by the end of the year. He will succeed H. Stephen Lieber, who in December 2016 announced his plans to retire as HIMSS President and CEO after more than 17 years of recognised success and exemplary service to HIMSS.
